READ MORENational Brain Tumor Society invites the Georgia brain tumor community to come together at The Battery Atlanta on May 10, 2025 for a 5K walk/run to raise awareness and funds to support the needs of brain tumor patients and their families. The Georgia Brain Tumor Walk & Race is a family-friendly event for all ages! Join us for a morning of celebration, remembrance and hope. Your community is here. Let’s discover a cure, together.
In-person participation options include an event t-shirt if you register prior to April 10, 2025. Event t-shirts are not guaranteed to late registrants. Registration fees will increase 30 days prior to event day, and again on event week.
Event week registration fees:
Virtual Participant – FREE
FREE registration for those who are unable to attend the event in person. Event t-shirts will be mailed to all virtual participants who raise $75 or more by April 10, 2025. T-shirts will arrive to you by event day. Virtual participants who register after April 10, 2025, will not qualify for an event t-shirt.
Event Schedule
6:30 am – Registration opens
7:30 am – Timed runner registration closes
8:00 am – Walker registration closes
7:30 am – Remembrance Ceremony
8:00 am – Opening Ceremony
8:30 am – Drumline march to 5K race start
10:00 am – Closing Ceremony
10:45 am – Event concludes
For the walk/run, participants have the choice to run the 5K as a timed participant, untimed runner, or walk at your own pace. Wheelchairs and strollers, and leashed pets are all welcome. For the little ones, stop by our Kids Tent for fun activities. Light refreshments and water will be available for all participants, but you are welcome to bring your own as well.

Fundraising for the brain tumor community takes real commitment to our cause, so we want to celebrate your successes.
Our NBTS Accelerator Club will recognize event participants like you driving brain tumor breakthroughs forward through your fundraising efforts. The more you raise, the more additional prizes you can earn. By raising $250 or more on your personal fundraising page by event day, you will become part of the NBTS Accelerator Club.
