Event T-Shirt Update
Participants are asked to raise a minimum of $100 (inclusive of your registration fee) by May 22, 2025, to receive a t-shirt on event day. While the event on June 14 is a community gathering for the brain tumor community, it is a fundraising effort at its core. We ask you to join your community leaders as they raise much-needed funds to drive discoveries for better treatments and improved quality of life. The event t-shirt in 2025 will have zoo elements included in the design! Our brain tumor survivors will receive their survivor event t-shirt without a fundraising minimum required.
5,000 Steps Toward Breakthroughs
This year, you are encouraged to track your walk through the 100-acre zoo on event day! By downloading the Good Move fundraising app, you can track your steps during your self-guided tour of the zoo. This fun feature will allow you to ask your donors to sponsor your 5,000-step activity challenge with their donations! You will receive an email with information on how to access the app after you register.

The Zoo parking lot has two entrances, one off of the Great Highway for people driving from the East Bay and South Bay, and one off of Sloat Boulevard at 47th Avenue for those driving from the North Bay. There is only one exit from the parking lot – putting everyone northbound on the Great Highway.
Guests planning to park in the Zoo’s parking lot need to purchase a parking voucher on site on the day of your visit.
Parking can be paid for three ways once you arrive at the Zoo.
1. At the ticket office windows when you arrive or when you leave
2. At the Little Puffer Train station (11am-4:30pm)
3. Scan the QR code on posters throughout the Zoo, pay online and retrieve an exit pass at the Gatehouse on your way out
Please note, paid parking is available on a first come, first serve basis. There is free parking on the street along Sloat Boulevard.
