Head to the Hill 2020

Head to the Hill 2020 was a success!

Just like most things in 2020, Head to the Hill looked different than in years past. However, our advocates did not let anything stop them from bringing the needs of the brain tumor community to Capitol Hill. More than 600 brain tumor patients, caregivers, medical professionals, and industry partners registered to join this year’s virtual Head to the Hill event. Ultimately, more than 1,500 advocates from all 50 states participated by sending over 5,000 messages to Congress on the importance of medical research funding for the brain tumor community!

We are so grateful to all of the advocates who participated in Head to the Hill, shared their stories with their members of Congress, asked their friends and family to take action, and joined us throughout our day to connect with others in the brain tumor community. A clear message was sent to Capitol Hill: the brain tumor community needs better treatments and a cure.

Statistics matter. People matter more.

We ask Congress to support the brain tumor community’s public policy priorities.
We do this because it’s important from members of Congress to hear directly from YOU, their constituents.
Real people, facing real issues. Your stories put a face to a disease and show policymakers the human impact of brain tumors.

We invite you to learn how past participants have effectively used their stories to drive change and encourage everyone
to share their story about their own Head to the Hill experience.
