A few years ago, NBTS showed us the problem with the low accrual in clinical trials. This led to a joint effort… trying to figure out what we can do to improve trial accrual, looking at things like telemedicine. This is an opportunity for us to reimagine how we can do trials, to do things more efficiently so that we can help our patients better.

Training for a Marathon Brought Jessica Back After Her Son’s Brain Tumor Diagnosis

As the mother of a 6-year-old with a brain tumor, Jessica tells her story of how training for the 2022 New York City Marathon team became a form of self-care. Jessica was one of 50 members of the Gray Nation EnduranceTM team who trained for the event and fundraised for NBTS.
