Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is a time to honor and advocate for children and families who have been impacted by cancer. Pediatric brain tumors are the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among children and young adults ages 19 and younger. While tremendous advances have been made across the rest of the pediatric cancer spectrum, little progress has been made in the treatment of pediatric brain tumors. NBTS has organized this special event to emphasize the need for research that can lead to safer and more effective treatments.
Listeners to Thursday’s concert can expect to hear timeless hits from The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, U2, Elton John, and many more. All are welcome to tune in and raise awareness and funds to create change to last a lifetime.
