Come together to conquer and cure brain tumors—once and for all
This month, take part in national events intended to harness the collective power of our community to conquer and cure brain tumors—once and for all.
NATIONAL BRAIN TUMOR WALK AND RACE FOR HOPE-DC
MAY 2, 2021
On May 2, we kicked off Brain Tumor Awareness Month with the National Brain Tumor Walk and Race for Hope-DC, our first-ever nationwide walk to conquer and cure brain tumors. Joining us were thousands of others as we came together virtually to raise funds that will drive and influence new treatments and build the power of the entire brain tumor community.
HEAD TO THE HILL
MAY 4, 2021
The grayest clouds often produce the most powerful lightning bolts. On May 4, we shared stories on the Hill and advocated for the federal government to make strategic investments in brain tumor research, improve health care delivery and quality of life, reduce health disparities, and raise the priority level for our community’s urgent needs.
EPENDYMOMA AWARENESS DAY
MAY 10, 2021
The brain tumor community came together for a special butterfly release on May 10 in honor of the tenth annual Ependymoma Awareness Day. As each butterfly takes flight, we honored the life of a loved one lost or living with a brain tumor.
NATIONAL BRAIN TUMOR RIDE
MAY 16, 2021
The National Brain Tumor Ride, our nationwide ride to conquer and cure brain tumors, took part on May 16. Joined by thousands, we came together virtually to raise funds that will drive and influence new treatments and build the power of the entire brain tumor community.
NATIONAL DAY OF GRAY
MAY 27, 2021
A day this gray never felt so bright. On May 27, we celebrated the efforts of our incredible volunteers and honored the lives of brain tumor patients and their caregivers.
